The A+ Program has been developed to give GPA Practices a cutting edge assessment tool for use in their accreditation cycle. Delivered completely via the web A+ has now become an essential part of GPA's operations.
GPA's web site is really an enterprise grade web application. Powered by MySQL, PHP and the PHP Prado framework we laid the foundations for a web site that was going to deliver a self assessment tool to each GPA Practice.
The first milestone was building a comprehensive web site large amounts of support material and allowed practices to register online. Tightly integrated with their corporate database, the web interface offers a rich Internet experience by using AJAX. Our commitment to standards drives to us ensure that the experience was the same on all major browsers and all major platforms.
Next we took their self assessment tool and turned it into a web based portal that is now used by both GPA staff members and practices to communicate with each other during the self assessment period.
The heart of this part of the system lies in a tree style questionnaire that is presented as a very easily navigable web interface, where practice managers are able to answer questions related to each Standard or communicate with their nominated Quality Accreditation Managers.
The system keeps a log of all documents they pass to the Quality Accreditation Manager and their communication during the process. A+ features generation of PDF reports for the questionnaires and communication logs.
A+ closely represents the way GPA operates and provides access to content based on user's roles. We makes use of many cool features that PHP Prado makes available (e.g Active components, Active Records, Templates) to ensure that their web based services can grow with their business and value to their customer's experience.
